Houston Chapter 

I first learned about SOFA in Nov 2022, when a representative reached out me with information about the organization.  After learning about SOFA and its mission, I was put in contact with a SOFA speaker, who is also a CPA and Retirement Planning Specialist.  He worked with me to help me learn about the topics offered and determine which would be the best for our employee population.  There are many free training topics that range from Getting Fiscally Fit to Exploring your Options for a Quality Retirement, perfect for our employee base which spans from 22 year olds to 67 year olds.  Since our employees are spread throughout the United States, we decided to host virtual Lunch and Learns.  We have held 2 so far and both were very well received.  We look forward to hosting more in the future.  Several of our employees also took advantage of the free consultation phone call offered and have been working with our assigned speaker to get their financial house in order and help prepare for a retirement which includes a better income with minimal tax implications.  I am so happy I learned about SOFA and so are our employees!
